Dec 2014: Letter from the President

Lisa Diaz

As we reflect fondly on the events of this past year, we can add the TCJAX and CSCMP Holiday Mix and Mingle Party to the list of highlights.

We’d like to give our heartfelt thanks to all those who attended the party, making it one of 2014’s most memorable events. It was an amazing way to finish out our annual calendar of events, and at an amazing venue. If you missed out, you’ve got something to look forward to at the end of 2015 as we’ve gone ahead and booked Le Jardin on Park again. We anticipate next year’s event to be the envy of all other holiday celebrations, with even more food and – of course – great networking.

But while we’re still on the topic of this year’s event, we’d like to extend our appreciation to the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals for partnering with TCJAX to host the event and to Commercial Warehousing and Trillium Driver Solutions for serving as sponsors – it wouldn’t have been possible without these Santa stand-ins working their Christmas magic behind the scenes.

And last but certainly not least, we’d like to thank all those who brought toys for Harvest Time International and made donations to Feeding Northeast Florida. Your generosity helped touch a life in need during a season where miracles are most talked about, but rarely seen.

Giving back to the Northeast Florida community is part of what makes being a member of TCJAX so special. Right now, we’re in the midst of our annual membership drive, making this the perfect time to complete the application for TCJAX membership for 2015. When your membership is activated, you’ll receive a login username and password to view members-only content on the website, like photos from our holiday event! You’ll also receive exclusive invitations to member events like our upcoming Monthly Meeting with guest speaker, Port Facility Security & Safety Director Kenneth L. Page, Sr.

Tickets to our Jan. 8 meeting are available now.

Also, you can now sign up for the 2015 TCJAX Inaugural Dinner to be held on Jan. 22 – see you there!

With a wonderful year behind us, TCJAX has another wonderful year to look forward to, with lots of exciting changes lined up. As always, we appreciate your support and wish you a very safe and blessed holiday season.
Sincerely yours,

Lisa Diaz
