2024 Tournament Format
The 2024 CSP Charity Golf Tournament will be a 2-person scramble format. We will have 2 flights - Competitive and Social. Teams who wish to compete in the Competitive Flight will need to provide a handicap index for each player, issued by GHIN. Players in the Competitive Flight without a GHIN handicap will be assigned a handicap index of zero. Social Flight contestants do not need to provide a GHIN index. Teams will be given the option to choose which flight to participate during the registration process. Teams may change which flight they participate up to a week prior to the event (October 21, 2024). Players are encouraged to register with a teammate, however, if you are a single player, we will do our best to pair you up with another single to form a team.

About Children’s Safe Passage
The Children’s Safe Passage (CSP) organization was formed in 2010 with the help of AGX CEO, Mike Williams, in response to the heartbreaking tragedy that took place in 2009 when 7-year-old Somer Thompson was abducted and murdered at the hands of a sexual predator. For the past 15 years, CSP has been actively seeking solutions to prevent violence and sexual exploitation against children in the Northeast Florida community.
Diena Thompson, Somer’s mother, launched the Somer Sunshine Scholarship in 2019 with Monique Burr Foundation for Children (MBF) to provide access to evidence-based prevention education programs for children and teens to protect them from bullying, digital dangers, abuse and exploitation. The 2023 CSP golf tournament was held on October 30th, 2023 and raised over $25,000. Since the CSP tournament began in 2010, more than $325,000 has been raised for the mission of preventing child sexual abuse through awareness initiatives and training for adults.
